Nigeria Unveils $1.5M AI Initiative to Boost Development
Nigeria will launch a $1.5 million initiative to accelerate its Artificial Intelligence (AI) development, funded by Luminate. This comes after criticism of a previous, smaller AI fund. The new initiative aims to secure more resources for AI growth, alongside the National Artificial Intelligence Trust which will prioritize ethical and sustainable AI development using local languages.
